Spending the day with my best dad Muna

One weekend me and my brother Misi went with my dad.  His name is Muna.When we are with our dad we go to the movies or the mall. Sometimes we go to our cousin’s house to play. My dad is the best dad ever because he gives us some money. I like spending time with my dad because he loves us and  when he leaves I feel sad.

This is me and my brother with my Dad.

We are 5 years younger.

All about Riverside Camp

These holidays I went to Riverside Camp. When we got to Willow Park we put our bags away in our rooms and then we went to the Rima room. Mr Burt put us into groups. After that we played a game. It was fun but it was too hard and  so after that game we played another game in the gym. It was funny. When the game finished we had some morning tea. It  was so delicious. When it was dark we played a game called “Finding the Crunchy Bars”.It was fun and scary.

Team 4 Inquiry PES Survivor

This term our inquiry is called "survivor". We are going to be learning about animals, creatures and living and how they adapt to survivor in their environment.

Sly Fox and the Little Red Hen

Once upon a time there was a Sly Fox who lived with his mother in a deep forest. Sly Fox was trying to get Little Red Hen for a long time. He said to his mother, “Boil the water. I am bringing Little Red Hen home for dinner.”

So Sly Fox went quickly inside Little Red Hen’s house. When Little Red Hen came back home she saw a bushy tail and she knew that it was Sly Fox. Little Red Hen went up on to her perch. So Sly Fox stood up and said, “Uhhhh I am going to catch you.” So Sly Fox ran around and around to make Little Red Hen dizzy. So Little Red Hen fell into Sly Fox’s sack and he took her home. On the way Sly Fox stopped to have a rest so he put the sack down and started to sleep.  When Sly Fox was sleeping, Little Red Hen flew out and put some rocks inside the sack. Then she ran home.  When Sly Fox woke up he walked home and told his mother that he had Little Red Hen. They tipped the hen into the boiling water but it was not the hen it was rocks.  The water went all over them and they got burnt. The Little Red Hen lived happily ever after.

Makeing soup

Four weeks ago we made vegetables soup. It smelt very yummy. First we cleaned our hands. Then we put on some gloves. After that I cut up the leeks and then I put them in the pot.We put in the carrots, parsnips, leeks, kumara, pumpkin and celery.I was cooking the soup with Sabrina. It was fun.

Two week ago our group sold the soup but I was not there because I was sick. They told me that it was fun and the people liked it.
