Going to the Temple

On Saturday the Primary church students  all went to the Temple. When we got to the temple  we had to go into groups  and then we went into a cool places. We saw a statue of Jesus Christ.  We had to sit down and then we had to listen to someone speak through the statue. Then we went up to the temple to take a photo of all of the Primary Churchin front of the temple. Then we went to this ice cream place. It was so cool. I ate Berry Berry ice cream it was so yummy. That was my first time at the ice cream place.

  

On Wednesday

On Wednesday in the morning Mr.J came in to see us. When he came in he came with tools and wire and wire cutters and pliers. Then we got to do it. We had to cut ten pieces of the wire. Then we put our names on the side of our trees. Mr.J’s one was the best one in the group and everybody’s was amazing in the world and cool. Machelle’s was so good like Mr.J’s one. Mine was not too bad either.

Fireworks

I felt really excited. It was Guy Fawkes night. That meant letting off fireworks. It was so cool having fireworks. We went to  Mission Bay so we could light up the fireworks. It was the best day ever. My dad, my brother and I were holding the sparklers. I was running on the sand and then we had to go home to sleep.

Being able to swim is Important

We need to swim so we can exercise and be healthy and to be better at swimming  . But if we can’t swim  we could drown. We swim at G.I. pools  so we can learn to swim and can be better at swimming so we would not drown in the water. We do backstroke, sidestroke and overarm. After that we get to play in the pool. It was so fun playing with my class. We had a great time.    

   

School hats

On a sunny day we have to wear hats outside so we don’t get burnt outside. We wear hats in the playground and

we wear our hats every day. Our hats look red and they have a tie on it and a toggle. If we don’t wear hats we will get in trouble from the teacher. My hat feels good on my head.

My school rules

At school if we have no rules we will get lots of trouble.

Now our school has school rules to keep us safe.

Why do we use our WITS ? So we can be safe.

We use our school rules in the classroom and the playground.

This helps us to be happy and to do our work well.

How our Movie was made

First of all we had to pick a story about running and acting.  I was chosen. After that  Mr. Jacobsen came inside to get me and Billy and Pou to take us to the mountain. I had to run up the mountain lots of time. My  legs were hurting but it was fun running on the mountain. Next we had to go to Mrs. Nua’s room to watch the marathon.

Then we had to do more movie. At last we were finished.

My School Holiday

In the holidays I went with my family to the beach. We had a picnic. Then my cousins came to the beach and they came with fish and chips. My cousins and my dad and I played rugby.It was fun playing rugby and my  cousins swam with me in the cold water. It was fun playing with my cousins at the beach.   

GOING TO THE MUSEUM

On Tuesday I went to the Museum with my class and class nine.  We had food then we went to the whare.  It was fun. Then we had to go in groups. We went to the volcano house and it shook like an earthquake and it shook three times. It was fun inside the volcano house because I liked the ground shaking. Then we went outside and we played rugby on the grass. Then we had to go back to school. The museum was very cool.

One night there was a kiwi call Aidan and the owl call Wesley. The kiwi was singing a song for the owl in a forest. Then the owl started singing along with the kiwi. After the owl sang the song with the kiwi he said to the kiwi, “I am going to sleep now.’’ He slept on the speaker.
 

The family at the Birthday

One day there was a family who went to the birthday. They had food over there at their friend’s house. The kids had a swim in the water. Then Tom could not stop his bike and he crashed into the water. The girls started to laugh at him and he was laughing too.       

After that the birthday was finished.

Then they started to clean the garden and the mum went to get some of the rubbish bags.

After they had picked up the rubbish they went to have some breakfast. Later they went to have a bike ride and then they had a rest.

On Monday my mum did the Ice Challenge last night. My Mum is the most fun mum in the world. She put five buckets on her. I was jumping up and down. My mum was so funny and I can’t believe that my brother tipped the water in the buckets on her.It was so funny I couldn’t stop jumping. My Aunt took a  video of my mum and she put it on facebook for my mum.

Cousin's best friend's birthday

On Saturday I went to my cousin best friend birthday and we had Carl junior at Cousin’s best friend’s birthday and his name was Aofa and he did a dance. After that  we went ice skating. It was fun and my cousin was cool. After that we had to go home and I went to my cousin’s house and we play Running Fred and my cousin was fun.

We had a good time.    

The Blues and hurricanes

On the weekend I went to the Auckland Blues game and it was cold at the Auckland Blue’s game.  The Blues had 37 and the Hurricanes had 12. They played at Eden park. After that we had a ripper rugby game at Eden park and we lost by one point. My feet were cold when I was on  the field

Angelica Samoan Language week

This morning we had assembly today for Samoan Language week and there were some fantastic dances by all the Samoan people who danced for Pt England School. Three groups  performed and the little kids danced for pt Pt England School and.After that Pt England performed for all of as and next performed was Tamaki College and Melaia sister was in Tamaki College Group.

When I got up this morning

When I got up this morning I was so cold and freezing and my hands were cold. My mum had to go for a run to warm up. After that I got ready for school then my mum came home to get ready for work.  After she was ready we went to the bakery so I could get some breakfast and lunch and I came to school in the car.

Raft

I made a raft with my mum and my brother. We made it with some sticks. You need life jackets too.  We put the raft in the water and it floated on the water.

After that me and my family went on the raft and we had picnic and we had fish and chips. They were yum. After that we had a swim. My brother pushed me in the water and then we went home.

Listen to the kids

Lying on their tummies Tasi and Fa’afouina were looking at the silver fish in the sea. Then two grown ups came with their boat  and put it into the sea. Then the boy saw some bubbles up.After that the boys tried to tell the two grown ups that the boat was sinking in the sea. The fish swam away.     

Then the boat sank into the sea.

On Easter a Dragon called Melaia put the easter eggs into a cave. Then Melaia came to me and she said, “Your  easter eggs are hidden in a cave.” And she flew up into the air. She went to people houses and she put some eggs in front of the door. Melaia knocked on the door and then Melaia flew away to the other peoples houses. The dragon saw people playing easter hunt and she was happy.

My name is Angelica and I was in the Jump Jam group. Our dance music was Mission Impossible and Don’t stop Wriggling. I liked the hip hop because the music was cool.  The Senior Hip Hop did an exciting dance. After that the Samoan dance was exciting doing the Azontos.

Miguel and Katy went to an island. they saw a jellyfish and katy saw a crab walking along the sand and.After that they made a sandcastle and Miguel helped Katy. They saw fish swimming in the sea and the dog barking at the fish. The fish swam away.
