Spending the day with my best dad Muna

One weekend me and my brother Misi went with my dad.  His name is Muna.When we are with our dad we go to the movies or the mall. Sometimes we go to our cousin’s house to play. My dad is the best dad ever because he gives us some money. I like spending time with my dad because he loves us and  when he leaves I feel sad.

All about Riverside Camp

These holidays I went to Riverside Camp. When we got to Willow Park we put our bags away in our rooms and then we went to the Rima room. Mr Burt put us into groups. After that we played a game. It was fun but it was too hard and  so after that game we played another game in the gym. It was funny. When the game finished we had some morning tea. It  was so delicious. When it was dark we played a game called “Finding the Crunchy Bars”.It was fun and scary.

Team 4 Inquiry PES Survivor

This term our inquiry is called "survivor". We are going to be learning about animals, creatures and living and how they adapt to survivor in their environment.

Sly Fox and the Little Red Hen

Once upon a time there was a Sly Fox who lived with his mother in a deep forest. Sly Fox was trying to get Little Red Hen for a long time. He said to his mother, “Boil the water. I am bringing Little Red Hen home for dinner.”

So Sly Fox went quickly inside Little Red Hen’s house. When Little Red Hen came back home she saw a bushy tail and she knew that it was Sly Fox. Little Red Hen went up on to her perch. So Sly Fox stood up and said, “Uhhhh I am going to catch you.” So Sly Fox ran around and around to make Little Red Hen dizzy. So Little Red Hen fell into Sly Fox’s sack and he took her home. On the way Sly Fox stopped to have a rest so he put the sack down and started to sleep.  When Sly Fox was sleeping, Little Red Hen flew out and put some rocks inside the sack. Then she ran home.  When Sly Fox woke up he walked home and told his mother that he had Little Red Hen. They tipped the hen into the boiling water but it was not the hen it was rocks.  The water went all over them and they got burnt. The Little Red Hen lived happily ever after.

Makeing soup

Four weeks ago we made vegetables soup. It smelt very yummy. First we cleaned our hands. Then we put on some gloves. After that I cut up the leeks and then I put them in the pot.We put in the carrots, parsnips, leeks, kumara, pumpkin and celery.I was cooking the soup with Sabrina. It was fun.

Two week ago our group sold the soup but I was not there because I was sick. They told me that it was fun and the people liked it.

Simba’s Diet

Once there was a dog called Simba who went to the vet Dr kelly check Simba to see if he was  ok.She check his heart and lungs and stomach. Then they put him on the scales to check his weight. It was too high . Dr Kelly said , “Simba should eat plenty of vegetables so he can lose weight.” After a while, mum said, “It has been several weeks taking Simba for long walks and feeding him vegetables and he still hasn't lost weight.” Henry’s mum called and said that Simba was walking past her house. After school Akosita came home from school. Her mother was waiting for her. She had found a hole in the fence. Akosita said, “We should go and get him.” They followed him too the butcher’s shop and they saw the butcher giving him a meaty bone.

Now they knew that why the diet wasn't working.

The giant soup

The Giant soup    retold by Angelica Vahai

Once upon a time there was a giant. His mother had gone  on a holiday. The giant made some soup for himself. The recipe was carrots,onions and a beef bone. He had an idea. He put his sneakers on and quietly went outside

to get a little boy to put him in the pot.

The little boy’s name was Jason. He was walking home from school with a cookbook.

Then the giant ran and caught Jason. He put jason in the pot. then jason “said” This pot is too cold tune on the stove”. Then Jason was drinking a little but he “said” you don’t no how to cook you have to put in the salt then he drag a bit more of soup then he “said” this soup is not right it needs pepper in. He drag a bit more.

After that the giant said, “You are drinking it all.” Then he got Jason out of the  pot  so he could have some soup. Then Jason said, “So I will go home then and I will come back to tomorrow to see how you are doing.”

The giant said, “ Don’t come back ever ever ever.” And Jason went home happy to be safe.

My Holiday

In the holidays I went with my dad to the movies and we watched Antman. After the movie we went to the night markets there were heaps of people. On Sunday we went to Denny’s the food was amazing I had a cheeseburger after that we went for a drive to my cousin house we went to pick them up so we could drive with them to town. Then we went to mission bay to play on the playground.   

The Three Wishes

My Three Wishes

If I had three wishes my first wish would be a new house. I want a new house so I would have heaps of room in my bedroom for my things. My mum would be happy that she could have her own bedroom. It would have a lovely kitchen and a lovely waterbed.

My second wish is to have a  swimming pool. I want a swimming pool and a spa pool so my mum could be nice and warm. If she gets hot she can put the cold water on so she can cool down. I want a swimming pool so I can come home after school and swim there.

My Third wish is a puppy so I can play with it. I would look after my puppy so it would be safe and I would feed it because if I don’t feed it would die. When it does pooh I will pick it up with a rubbish bag so my mum doesn't get angry at me. But if we went somewhere like the beach I would take him with me so I could play with him on the sand. WALT: I am learning to write paragrphs
